We can offer you the studio on an hourly, daily, weekly or long term rate. We can offer you 'with engineer' or 'with Producer' rates and we have some of the best people around for you to work with. We can put together a team to suit your style, price and requirements. In addition to all that we have a great database of session musicians too who all work at the studio regularly.

MIXING

Whether you recorded at home, at another studio or have already tracked with us, mixing your record is a crucial part of the process! StudioToy was built and equipped for mixing and we have amazing mix engineers ready to bring your project in to the end zone!. We have special rates available for mixing singles, albums and can offer attended sessions or unattended options.

Video plays one of the most important roles in Music Marketing . The combination of audio with picture is engaging more new fans than ever before, especially through social media channels. We offer a vast array of solutions to our clients for true live video recordings of their studio sessions / or to record a live performance piece as an entire band. We have a lot of the camera and lighting equipment in-house and we partner with outside companies who are experienced at working in live recording situations. the facility

We have three live spaces and our control room. All these rooms have been built using the highest quality materials and technology to personalise your session. Features such as Air Conditioning that can warm or cool. Remote controllable colour changable LED lighting and Halogen White lighting for a variety of colours and intensity settings. Baltic Birch solid wood floors, Bamboo and Rosewood acoustic wall diffusers and beautiful features such as our reclaimed wood walls make these rooms as visually pleasing as they are sonically. With the growing demand for video work we wanted to make these rooms versatile and beautiful for filming too.

Our control room is acoustically treated for accurate mix performance and our three live areas offer a blend of lively, controlled and dead areas to ensure you can capture the acoustics you want to suit the project.

TIME TO HEAR EVERYTHING

The inspiration for our In-Ear Rehearsal service came from a live recording session, everyone was in Headphones and had complete control of their individual master volume levels and band mix. What was immediately apparent was how much the band enjoyed playing this way and how it improved their performance. From that day we decided to build a recording studio style rehearsal environment.

IT ISN'T TECHNICAL

The good news is it isn't technical. We have installed a bespoke Allen and Heath Digital Mixing System for our In-Ear Rehearsals, once we have plugged you all in to our console, we will set the EQ's, Gates, Compressors and Effects meaning the only thing you have to do is set your own preferred levels on the ME-1 personal monitoring controllers. Everything is named on a digital display and you can balance the individual instruments, effects and a preferred master level. REMEMBER! every band member gets a ME-1 meaning everyone can rehearse listening to the band in a way that suits and aids their playing.

16 - 40 CHANNELS 

Our standard rehearsal is set up for 16 channels but we have a Mixing system that can cope with up to 40 channels and the ME-1 units can also give you a personalised mix of up to the same number. This maximum amount of channels available makes our rehearsals perfect for bands with lots of backing vocals, brass sections, complex electronic rigs such as multiple keyboards, drum pads and programmed tracks etc.

BETTER BACKLINE

We mic up all the backline, including drums, guitar rigs etc. Because the headphone isolate the room volumes, these instruments are also fully controllable from the ME-1. Many musicians feel restricted by playing at quieter volumes especially if that volume creates the sound, tone, feel, playing style etc. that they need. Now you can set the levels and play how you want but still monitor comfortably, finally no need to worry about other band members who may normally struggle with the in-the-room backline levels.

NO FEEDBACK, NO EAR FATIGUE

Because everything is in headphones, there is no feedback.  Our clients have also found that they can rehearse longer and hear better because they are listening to the mix at a way more comfortable levels. If your a volume junky the system is capable of high volumes too.

TOTAL RECALL

In bands we all know how monotonus setting up and breaking down gets. With our rehearsal system once you have rehearsed here once the mixer settings and your personal mixer settings are all recallable for the next time round, good news or what! If you continue to make fine adjustments in rehearsals that follow these can continue to be saved and recalled meaning your rehearsal sound and sessions will just continue to get better.
